HRAF’s launch of a new home page

We are pleased to announce the launch of a lively new home page for the Human Relations Area Files (HRAF).  The site has a brand new feel, with newsfeeds, culture quizzes, topic highlights and colorful images of cultures and prehistoric traditions.

We’ve updated and reorganized the website’s sections under the home page menus to make HRAF more accessible:

The eHRAF databases menu contains a quick overview of the cultures, archaeological traditions and subjects covered in the eHRAF World Cultures and eHRAF Archaeology databases.

Under Resources, are sections for librarians, faculty and researchers, including information on IP and EZ-Proxy configurations for librarians, 30+ online student exercises for faculty and  a reworked practical guide to using eHRAF’s databases for researchers.

Under Research, find current and past research projects conducted by the HRAF team.

Publications and Archives links to a list of books, manuscripts and rare, on-demand publications available from HRAF.

Browse the new HRAF home page and let us know what you think. Please pass on the news to faculty using eHRAF for teaching and research, including the new URL:  https://hraf.yale.edu.
