1. Choose a New World or and Old World archaeological site from the list below.

2. When you have made your choice begin filling out the data forms provided to you.

3. As to your chosen civilization, you will be expected to provide the following information:

a. Geographic setting
b. Economy
c. Religion
d. Politics
e. Social organization
f. History

4. Be sure to explain how archaeologists extrapolated the above information from the features and artifacts of the site.

B. Physical Aspect – 100 Points

You will create an artifact that would be appropriate to the civilization of your choice.

C. Power Point

You will produce a power point presentation to accompany your speech using photos, graphics and text based on your site.
