Scope Note

Seasonal distribution and succession of food-getting and other economic activities; seasonal migrations in the gathering or production of food (e.g., transhumance, nomadism). Note that category 221 is often used for describing the annual cycle for food producing societies as well as those practicing gathering, hunting, and fishing.
