The texts included in this category may cover a wide range of subject matter, from "literary", historical, life history, etc. To search for texts about specific subjects, use a Boolean "and" search.

This category, term, and scope note were introduced in 1997. It replaced term 539 "Literary Texts". For texts indexed prior to 1997, use the term "Literary Texts".
