Guest speaker Amber Wutich discusses the basics of coding qualitative datasets in the context of cross-cultural research, including theme analysis and metatheme analysis. Several forms of metatheme analysis are discussed, including pile sorting, thematic network analysis, and constant comparison, and techniques for describing the results of these analyses are discussed.
