Hypothesis

Institutions of property and distribution among foragers will be associated with economic development in varying ways (41).

Note

Incidence of wealth inequality, market/barter, taxation/tribute, food storage, holding of intangible wealth, and inheritance are all significantly positively associated with economic development. Food sharing is significantly negatively associated, and slave holding, land possession, and marriage wealth transfers are not significantly associated.
