Slavery will vary by type of subsistence

Note

Results found the presence of slaves to be rare among hunter-gatherers and horticultural farmers, and more often among fishing. For migratory farmers, presence of slavery depended on tool material. Slavery occurs 50% within pastoralists and hunters, and slightly less often among intensive farmers.
