Hypothesis
Genital mutilation/cutting is associated with high gods.
Note
This is tested against each form of GM/C. The presence of high gods is shown to be a good fit for MGM/C and each of its subgroups. Correlated evolution suggests that MGM/C may help cement the position of high gods, and that if it is absent, high gods are likely to become absent in the future.
