Permissive attitude toward terminating reproduction is negatively associated with Population Growth Rate (PGR) (66).

Note

Permissive attitude toward terminating reproduction is measured as a composite of 8 variables, including attitude that abortion and infanticide are justified if desired, for economic reasons, if mother's health endangered, and if older children's welfare threatened.
