Hypothesis
Patrilateral emphasis in foraging groups (either patrilocality or patrilineal descent) will be positively associated with severity of premarital sex restrictions (188).
Note
Descriptive statistics indicate that 48% of sampled patrilateral groups place strict restrictions on female premarital sex compared with 8% of sampled matrilateral groups.
