Hypothesis

Women’s contribution to subsistence will be positively associated with polygyny, exogamy, bridewealth, postpartum sex taboo, girls’ socialization for industriousness, positive evaluation of females, and premarital sexual permissiveness (145-7)

Note

Women's contribution to subsistence is negatively associated with cultural complexity.
