Population pressure (measured by population density) will be associated with increased male agricultural participation and decreased female agricultural participation (574).


Correlation coefficient, Pearson's R=-.22, between population pressure and female contribution to acticulture. Within the multiple regression, population pressure only has effects in the Old World.
