Hypothesis

Tight states will exhibit greater conscientiousness and lower openness compared to loose states (7993).

Note

Several other personality variables were tested, including extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. Extraversion and agreeableness are positively associated with tightness, neuroticism is not related.
