Hypothesis

Incidence of sexual deviance will be predicted by certain characteristics of adolescence and adulthood (146).

Note

Sexual deviance in boys was predicted by opportunity for adolescents to work (r = 0.34), opportunity for drug use (r = 0.36), inculcation of achievement (r = 0.42), and anticipated sexual license by adults (r = 0.60). Sexual deviance in girls was predicted by opportunity for adolescents to work (r = 0.33), choice of current work (r = 0.55, general permissiveness (r = -0.51), contact with father (r = 0.41), and sexual license by adults (r - 0.49).
