By Adler, Michael A.

Hypothesis

There is a positive relationship between community size and use group size (size of group using an integrative facility) (164).

Note

The ‘use group’ classification was defined by dividing the population of the of the largest community by the average number of integrative facilities in the community (160). The author assumes that social integrative facilities are one of the most important sites and aspects of information exchange and decision-making within a community (171).
