Prestige-bias is more common in pastoralists than in hunter-gatherers.


Hunter-gatherer data taken from Garfield et al. (2016). Pastoralists had slightly more cases of prestige-bias (4.9%) than hunter-gatherers (2%), but the differences were not significant.
