For societies with intermediate permissiveness, a high degree of participation by children in adult activities is correlated with measures of social organization and economy (359)


At 0 government levels, external war is negative and significant (p<.05). At 1 or more government levels, internal war (p<.05), unilineal descent (p<.01), patrilineal descent (p<.05), polygynous marriage (p<.05), land transport (p<.05) are significant (all but land transport are positively related).
