Hypothesis

Female contribution to subsistence will be positively associated with polygyny (p. 702).

Note

Low Gamma (.214) indicates this association does not explain very much variance in marital structure. Further testing shows that gamma values for female contribution to subsistence and marital type differ greatly by subsistence type.
