Hypothesis
There will be an inverse relationship between parents' levels of expressive activity. In other words, as the mother's involvement in childcare increases, the father's involvement will decrease proportionately, and vice versa (467).
Note
Hypothesis was only supported regarding infant care, not childcare during early childhood.
