Hypothesis

Language phyla will tend to be found on either side of the isotherm of a winter temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.

Note

Null hypothesis tested. Also uses a transformed centigrade scale with a formula that has the effect of stretching out the scale for temperatures "x" near 30.
