Expectation of antisocial behavior in adolescent boys will be associated with harsh socialization of infants and children (140).

Expected antecedents of antisocial behavior include mother and infant sleeping apart (r = 0.50), bodily restrictiveness in later infancy (r = 0.35), training by example in infancy (r = 0.42) and later childhood (r = 0.47), training by gifts in infancy (r = 0.39) and later childhood (r = 0.38), and training by lecturing (r = 0.35) and inculcation of foritude (r = 0.35) in later childhood.
