Adolescent fertility and risky environments: a population-level perspective across the lifespan

Proceedings of the Royal Society B Vol/Iss. 279 The Royal Society London Published In Pages: 4003-4008
By Placek, Caitlyn D., Quinlan, Robert J.

Hypothesis

Early mortality risk will have a larger impact on adolescent fertility rates than current mortality risk. (4004)

Note

Total effects were calculated for both early and current extrinsic risk variables. Early extrinsic risk had much stronger total effects (0.641-0.669) than current extrinsic risk (0.182-0.235).
