Hypothesis
Political integration will be correlated with social stratification.

Results shown are for the Atlas of Cultural Evolution (ACE). Tests were also performed using the SCCS, which was also significant in the expected direction (R=0.719, p<0.001). Spearman correlations were also performed for both samples (ACE: 0.896, p<0.001; SCCS: 0.699, p<0.001).
