Hypothesis

Wealth required for family survival will be related to the evolution of family systems.

Note

The study suggests that societies with equal inheritance will be more prone to violent conflict, which can damage goods and resources. Thus, families will require more wealth to survive these conflicts. On the other hand, strongly biased inheritance will be related to a smaller required wealth.
