Hypothesis
Countries with a higher proportion of ancestry from hunter-predominant societies will report higher average levels of happiness.
Note
Results were controlled for contemporary income per capita. Significant in simpler models, but the association became non-significant after adding historical controls and continent fixed effects, indicating limited robustness.
