Hypothesis

Unilineal descent type will be correlated with sex dispersal norms across the Sino-Tibetan phylogeny.

Note

Supported for all models of female dispersal norms. Results were significant for patrilineal/non-patrilineal and disperse/non-disperse (log Bayes Factor = 22.40), patrilineal/non-patrilineal and stay/non-stay (log BF = 22.87), matrilineal/non-matrilineal and disperse/non-disperse (log BF = 12.16), and matrilineal/non-matrilineal and stay/non-stay (log BF = 26.67).
