Sarah graduated from UCSB with training in Cultural Resource Management. She has worked at Vandenberg Air Force Base in northern Santa Barbara County as one of the base archeologists. The base is almost 100,000 acres with archeological sites and historic resources that extend from archeological sites of the Chumash Indians dating 9,000 years ago to a Mexican adobe house from the mid-1800s to an early space launch complex. As the archeology analyst at HRAF she is able to indulge her love of learning about a myriad of cultures from multiple time periods extending back to Middle Paleolithic Egypt and up to the Spanish invasion of Mexico.
