Abbe graduated with highest honors from Emory University in 2019 with a B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology. Her thesis explored the intersection of diet and disease through the lens of Indigenous sovereignty and reclamation among the Seneca Nation of Indians in Western New York. A 2018 alumni of SIT’s IHP Health, Community, and Care program, she has spent time studying access to healthcare within a cross-cultural framework across different parts of the United States, India, South Africa, and Brazil.
Her additional passions and interests include women’s reproductive rights / health, healthcare policy and preventative care models, art and photography, anything women’s soccer, and being outdoors. She plans to apply to graduate school later this year.
