Anj graduated from the University of Iowa in 2021 with a B.S. in anthropology and a minor in religious studies. His undergraduate thesis analyzed community controversy over local deer management decisions in Iowa City. He was also involved with the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates, the Latham Science Engagement Initiative, the School of Music, and disability advocacy on and off campus. Anj’s interests lie broadly in wildlife conservation and management and environmental interaction, and he hopes to begin work on a graduate degree next fall.
