After several years of development and months of beta testing, the new look for our eHRAF World Cultures database is scheduled to launch in Fall 2022. The official public rollout will begin in the Fall, but current eHRAF member institutions can enjoy early access to the new and improved design. For your exclusive first look, simply log in to eHRAF World Cultures as usual, and click on the link in the “Preview Our New Design” box as shown in the above video.
Here is a preview of some of the enhancements you can expect to see:
- Sleek new appearance
- Faster and smarter searching
- More relevant results
- Notebooks to save, organize, annotate, and share paragraph results
- Custom themes
- Three search result views
- Dynamic filters
- Search insights
- Mobile-friendly application
Over the coming weeks, we will post further information about these exciting features, as well as tips to help researchers, instructors, and librarians prepare for the transition to the new-look application. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date at every step.
